I have looked and looked to no avail. I don't think they are selling them yet. But I did find out that GM is starting to use these kinds of bulbs. Theirs are L1230R. They are a tad bit longer than the L1224R (6mm to be exact).

There is very little difference. Niether one is really "better" - it just changes the focal point but honestly, I can't tell a difference.

Yeah probably, you need the socket too. The big thing is you need the piece off of the tail that the bulb snaps into, which I don't think you can buy with buying the entire tail. It would be very expensive.

If you need the part it snaps into did u buy the entire tail?

Jp7 cut the part out of the entire tail, I got them from him.

Look for Mountaineers, Sable, Taurus X, 09 Mustangs and the new Malibu's

No 7 is the bulb holder, you need the actual part of the taillight.

Okay. Hopefully they got the taillight busted out on them and they want next to nothing for them

What year Mountaineers does it have to be 06 and up

Um I don't remember, it might be 07 up Mounts, 08 up everything else.

I believe i put it in my thread...'06+ mounty's.

I have these LED's from JP& in my tail lights as well. They are great. Along with the line of fire and LED third brake light, it looks really sharp.
