Life always comes first man. Glad to hear things are looking up for you and I'm looking forward to seeing the build continue on.

I'm starting to like where your build is going. It seems you are getting a unique look that fits it perfectly

yeah so far so good. its a full aluminum construction, including the mounts. the feet on the mounts have rubber pads as well as shock absorbers so its got a steady beam over bumps and stuff. I've tried it on the road (back roads without street lights) and in the woods and damn, it lights everything up lol

Did your friend use the bolts behind the bumper? That's how his is and several members have built lightbars using that mounting location with no incident

I needed new tires so I decided to ditch the 20s and go ahead and get new wheels and some other goodies while I was at it. I went with 17x9 Ultra Crushers and 285/70r17 Cooper Discoverer A/T 3s. I also ordered a PA 3" body lift and Pro Comp shorty AAL. Everything arrived this past Wednesday so I haven't had a chance to put the body lift on yet but I went ahead and installed the AAL and put the wheels/tires on.

Those wheels look awesome. I've been considering stepping up to a 17" or 18" wheel when I get 35's.

Lately I've been considering straying from the circular hole patterns and going to spokes.

I think I may be leaning more towards the spokes now seeing your 17's

I've have spokes, next set (dunno when) will be holes. Justin look at 17's. Tires might be cheaper than an 18". More sizes available too.

Thanks, I appreciate it! It took me a long time to decide on what wheels to buy I really like them so far. I wish I had gone with a little bit bigger tire though, now that I can see them on the truck.
