So it's been a while since I've posted on this forum and figured I'd give you all an update on the ol 98

Here's what it looked like before for those who don't remember


Now let the fun begin, Stripped the truck down to just the cab and frame


Notched and KP 6 link installed


Z'd 2.5" and the rear frame rails pancaked (not body dropping it just want it as low as possible)




Raised control arm mounts and now running MMW upper and lower arms


Inner fenders and backhalf with air management



and how it currently is and how the bed is done, it's been a 1.5 year build so far and will be done soon, if you want any more pics I can post them later

Little update for everyone

Interior has been sound deadend


And have been working on getting the motor all back together





and got done polishing the upper intake manifold


Progress has been slow, but it is what it is

Love the truck, man. Looking forward to seeing it put back together.

Have to ask. What color is that? Ford color? Custom?

 

It's Chrysler Blaze red, looks like a Candy but is a Base clear.

 

Polishing that manifold must have been fun and time consuming !

 

Not what I was expecting. I guess I'll start having to pay more attention to Chryslers lol

 

Even though I am SO not a fan of lowered trucks (okay, so I am old and boring), I have to give you the credit you deserve for some of the most beautiful fabrication work I have ever seen. Love the color choice as well as some of the engine detail you show in the pics. Awesome work, for sure... keep the pics coming!

 

Always have to admire the craftsmanship.

One of these days I might just be able to fab like that. Would be nice to have the skill in it of itself, welding and all that.
