look at what FedEx brought
i dont have a torsion bar puller i have other tools but i dont have any jacks or jack stands. And believe me i kno about my truck. this will be the first thing i havent installed myself. it doesnt justify buying the tool then using it once. Im getting these wheels and tires.

you dont need a torsion bar puller...you just need a big c clamp. Id come down and hell you i got all the jack stands and what not. I'm sure other members in the area would be willing to help you.
I apperciate the offer. but i work alot and really dont have time to do it myself, or i would give it a shot believe me. It goes in wednesday i work my mom doesnt so im taking her car. when i get off work the truck will be done.
I am, but my funds might be a bit low. Have a bachelor party all weekend July 10,11,12, Following weekend (July 17, 18, 19) is the wedding which I'm the best man in. So like I said to the Pittsburgh meet, I'm playing everything by ear. This might be cheaper then going out to Pittsburgh.
No special tools needed at all!!
While disassembling the front end, you can completely unload the bars by taking the torsion key cover off, pull the bolt, unbolt the top ball joint, unbolt the top of the shock, unbolt the sway bar, and there's enough droop in the LCA to twist the bar enough in the right direction to slide that block out that has the block with the threads in it that keep the key in the bracketry. That's how I did the PreKey mod. NO SPECIAL TOOLS NEEDED, not even a c-clamp.
Have you thought about that front shaft yet?
We better get progress pics damnit!
