Me and David headed up to the junk yard and then on Carlos Avery for some good old goofing around. I was looking for a roll bar that I knew they had and the guy said some guy bought it not 10 minutes before I was a bit angy. Heres the pics.






I was driving along this road doing probably about 20 and came up on a puddle so I decided to hit it. It was a bad idea, it was a rather large hole and im pretty sure I damaged something. It now shakes going 55 and theres a rattle in the engine. Heres the only pic I have of the aftermath


And heres a couple vids, we were using 2WD becuase i tried it first with 4WD and nothing happened it just hoped out.

Sucks about the truck... but hopefully it's just some dirt throwing the wheel outta balance for the shake...

 

yeah hopefully its just mud on the rim or somthn. looks like you guys had fun. sucks about the roll bar though

 

I dont think its mud on the rim. I dropped in and hit hard, it was like a pothole. Time for an extensive underbody wash.


Oh and that roll bar sold for $9, yes NINE DOLLARS.

That's the perfect example to getting it when you first see it, rather than waiting. That's how i somehow now have a ranger part junkyard of sorts. lol.


When did you put the 4 lights on it? Looks great!

 

Well I first saw it on a post on here, and I waited until today because today was half off day. I was waiting for david because its up there near where we went, if I wasnt waiting for him I was going to go as soon as I woke up this afternoon.

I just got the 2 middle lights on today, I put the 2 outside lights on a while back. I cut the wires on the old ones so right now none of them are hooked up.

Here is the mud hole that matt was talking about. Its a lot deeper than it looks we found out lol.



It was a fun day, and one of the first times I have put my truck in mud. It sucked about the roll bar. I guess it was my fault, I didnt get going fast enough lol.

 

Ooooh Man Am I homesick! I grew up in the avery! I am so jealous!
