I think it would look ALOT better if the outside ring looked like the inside one but thats just me. That is actually the FIRST thing I have not liked about your truck. Other than the fact that its yours and not mine.

The wheels hes welding them to are technically DOT approved wheels. So I don't see why not.

watch the lip when you weld them. if you go too big the rings will concave in.

meh
i have a little 3/8" impact i'll be using to tighten down all 160 bolts when ever i get around to doing mine... screw using a torque wrench on 160 bolts 4 or 5 times each on offroad only bead locks.

im still not liking the kore choice, sure they make nice stuff but you dont have any of it on your trucks lol

maybe i was trying to hold in my excitement? lol idk.

I order some 42x15x17 Pitbulls a while back. I am afraid I might have went too big but id still like a D60 soon for the front. Id like to lower it about an inch and shove these in there. from measuring they should fit with little to no rubbing.

last time i checked it was 32x4 which is 128, but if you want 160 that is fine with me.

it wont take that long to tighten by hand.

meh to me the KORE on the side is just like a brand name or running the skull that comes with the ballistic stuff. plus i got a discount if it said KORE on it. LOL

Mig, I thought about tig welding them but I dont really want to haul them over to my friends place to weld them. Mig should do just fine, just need to make sure its sealed up.

Wow, those will look awesome Zach. I think they would look good with their natural finish (clear coated of some sort of course), but it wouldnt go well with your truck either.

Can't wait to see these in action.

When you mount the tires, make sure you smear some silicone on the welds of the rings. It will help if there is any pinhole leaks or anything that you missed.

Zach, what material are those made out of, and what thickness?

I'd be worried about busting them up while rock crawling.

i wouldnt. thats the point of that hugeass ring. i feel more set with my beadlocks than i do with a normal rim. you wont bend the lip back of a beadlock like you would with a regular steel wheel if you get it caught on the lip of a rock.

1/4" trust me they wont and if they do you just buy a new ring and put it on or beat the dents out and reuse them they are made to take the abuse.
