here's the album

and DAMN!
I've never wheeled that park with my truck, but i've rode a few times and it just turns into a slippery fun fest when it rains that much, the posi rear was KILLING ME! the first hill climb i was beating it pretty hard in 2nd trying to get up that ledge but no go :( I almost had it once we had already stared unspooling the winch as you can see ;)

BUT, that didn't stop me.. my buddy who was supposed to be there when we got there.. got there about a minute after i had the axle torn down waiting on the new shaft he had taken out of a 44 of his. got it all put back together and kept goin, finally got to use the rock lights.. I also had an issue with the truck running real hot, maybe its the lack of fan shroud :headache:.. time for an e-fan.

03Shadowbob 03-14-2009 07:04 AM

wow. I love your wheeling spots and action pics. Very nice.

casfz1 03-14-2009 07:29 AM

Looks like a nice place to wheel. What park is that? I might be down in Texas this summer to see my sister in North Richland Hills.

cory07ranger4x4 03-14-2009 09:50 AM

Dang Matt... That place looks real fun. I'm really liking your truck. Looks great. It's very hard to tell how hard things are in pics but if I aired down to like 4psi, do you think my yota would even have a chance at making it up that right side? Just trying to compare. I have no idea how hard it is in person. Great pics though!:biggthump

seed60 03-14-2009 12:15 PM

Take it easy son!!

Great pics!

99ranger4x4 03-14-2009 12:15 PM

HA
we're going again... last minute decision.
I'll post another thread later

i mean no

I've seen a hand full of competition buggies try it, and heard more stories.

camodown 03-14-2009 02:11 PM

good stuff, I think you are making up for that stretch you didn't get to wheel for awhile

that place looks tuff, didn't realize there was a park by marble falls

they just opened not too long ago. and there's not too many full size trails yet, but there's a ton for quads and dirt bikes.

Today we went up a few trails again and it was a little easier.. I made it up everything today, we had to strap the ZJ up a ledge, then we went back at the end of the day and tried again... anddd he stripped some teeth off the pinion gear :006: but up until that point he was giving it HELL, i had no idea an open D30 on 33s with a V8 would take so much abuse..

Oh yea.. my front end got like 2 or 3 feet of air, i was looking at the sky for a split second hah

Redneckstone 03-15-2009 01:13 AM

damn Mall Crawlers!!!

RangerMuse 03-15-2009 01:14 AM

Crazy man. Looks like a great time though

99ranger4x4 03-15-2009 01:27 AM

it was a good time, we need to go cut more trails, it gets old running the same stuff a couple times in one day.

I really wish someone was there with a nice camera to catch my wheel stand haha

Ace 03-15-2009 01:36 AM
