I know some people wouldnt be happy but i was...

Before:

After:

being my truck is a 2000 its a 2 bulb tail light and i had the amber taped off on the 98-99 tails so i thought this would solve the problem

If your wondering where the wheel is i was in the lovely heated garage balancing it.. it got a nail in it and had it hot patched and it was out of balance...

I love the bubble balancers. I remember going to balance tires with my dad for our '71 f-100 wood truck and always using one

what you do is there is a bubble on an indicator in the middle there kinda like a Level for doing studs...

you center the bubble with just the balancer dry

then place the tire on and flip the lever and the tire will go off balance and the bubble will move.. you then try and balance the tire so the bubble is in the middle...

if it is calling for say 4oz on one side you want to slip the difference in a 45deg from the center of the 4oz so its 2oz either way 22deg away from the center in a sense its not that precis persay.. you make sure its still level...

then take it off put the weight on and place back on the balancer then see if the bubble is in the middle.. if it is you have a balanced tire.. i have taken my tire to like discount before had them balance get on the freeway and its vibrating like mad.. then bring it home throw the tire on the bubble and sure enough its not balance thus why i never trust tire dudes anymore..

You can trust me Zach.

In all honesty what probably happened is they tossed it on the balancer and spun it once put the weights on and took it off the balancer. It really should be spun again after the weights are put on. A lot of times aftermarket rims will not balance out again, and need to be spun a couple times to get it right.

If I were to get my tires serviced anywhere, I would make sure its not busy and its not near close, or else they are going to rush it.
