My 4/5'd 1998 Ranger

This has been my gas mileage truck for about a year now.I did all the shaving, bodywork and paint by myself back in 2005 when my Father owned it. My father and I did the drop kit last fall. Let me know what you think!!

dude that is a sexy truck. I'd say either lose the flares, or stick the tires out a bit more and it'd be amazing! very nice

If I stick the tires out more they will have an uncomfortable meeting with the fenders. lol The tires are around and inch or less away from the fenders right now.

Love it!! Very clean looking.

I was also thinking about the full length center console with the manual tranny mod. Good job.

My only opinions: I would ditch the flares, but if you like it then thats cool. I would also get rid of the tail-lights.

How does your gauge cluster look lit up at night?

I agree about the tail lights. I have a set of 2006, 2000, 1998 and 1997 tails lying around so I change them around every so often. The cluster lights up red flames with blue numbers. I'll try to remember to take some pics of it tonight when it gets dark out.

I like it, because it is lowered. Question for you, whats up with the badges on it? They read "chrome" What are your future plans?

Thanks for the comments. The badges say "Chrome edition" and they came off a roush f150. My dad thought it would look cool lowered with flares so we put them on. Nothing for engine work other then maintenance on the 2.5. The shifter boot is custom made by a upholstery guy in town here. And I open the doors with a keyless entry system hooked up to door poppers that pop open the doors and the tailgate opens up with a handle on the back of the tailgate. My future plans are either to bag it or possibly sell it. I have another lowered green ranger and probably should consolidate the fleet....

Yeah defiantly the first lowered truck with flares I've seen. Interesting look.

Not sure. It gets parked in the winter. I've had it out with some snow on the ground but not out on the ice or deep snow and never through salt.

Love the exhaust and really makes me want to 4/5 mine.....too bad I still need functionality of riding over curbs and such....

and like others stated, bump out those wheels and that truck is banging.

yeah I'd lose the tails and flares. After that it will be a very clean street truck.
