Never under stood why people swirl or black out there plate.

depends on the cop but i was rolled by chp in 2004 in my old accord and was told that even though the law states that the lense need only reflect red (which niteshaded tails do) that you cant have black tails (which i also think is bs considering how many cars now come with clears)

It's a little to dark for my liking. I like to see some red in the tails still. Usually more red than black.
