my dream car!

seeing as i still own my 1978 mustang II and maybe one of my kids was made in it, i figured i would post some pics of a car i dream of owning!

mine has not seen the light of day in 8 years! i have been having thoughts of doing something with it.

Ever watch the movie Starman? I was never a big fan of that style but this one looks nice.

i am with you there, although i have a spot somewhere that likes the mustang II.

i have owned at least 8 of them over the years. the last time i had my 78 at the track it ran 12.teens at 110ish MPH.

one of my long time friends has a 78 cobra II and i did a alignment on it today. sorry but things are happening inside and i may put my truck on the back burner for a while.

That is a really nice mustang 2. I normally dont like them, but damn that's done up well.

Seeing as the blower is fed from behind, that's a twin screw set up isnt it?

Or am I wrong and it's a roots type?

Those cars dont get the respect they need cause without them the mustang prolly wouldve died... but you sure dont see a lot of them nowadays... there is one in my town that comes out on special occasions, twin turbo 5.0 with official pace car paint scheme grey,orange and black. That engine bay is so cramed its crazy to put it all together

And as far as it sharing the Mustang nameplate? Not quite, it was a Mustang TWO, not a Mustang. So it's technically a different name...
