a couple of my dads trucks. the green one is a 76 F-250 with the 390 big block. it served as his plow rig for about 25 years. the brown one is a 78 with the 351, its 2wd but he bought this as a doner truck to rebuild the body of the 76.

and heres the wrecker he built. it used to just have an a frame sling boom but he extended the bed, built a wheel lift and hydrolic sling boom. this truck has towed my old 86 ranger a few times. lol

Real cool pics man. All those trucks look awesome.

You have any plans of fixing up the old Ranger?

that was the plan when it was put into storage. we have a doner truck for it out back and i had plans for a V8 drivetrain and a solid axle for it. not sure if i will now though because id rather spend the money and time to restore the 76 dentside.

yeah it still runs but the body is rusted out pretty bad, the floorboards are gone, doors are gone, trans is shot, and the transfer case needs work. the motor is still tight though.

Those 390's are awesome engines. My buddy has a 73 mud truck with a 390 and that thing has never let him down
