Saw this today at a local car show I entered.

1956 F-150 cab on a 97 Ranger frame with a flareside bed. It had a 302 with a 4-speed auto. The interior was factory 56 with the addition of an aftermarket floor shift.

It was amazing, now on to the pictures.

No I don't unfortunately. He lives around here and they have a car show every Tuesday so I'll try to catch it again.

Meh, I'm not digging the Ranger thing. I'd prefer the truck if it was 100% original lol. I LOVE that body style, but that Ranger bed.... blah.

I swear I've seen that before, sweet truck.

 

Not liking the sucked in look on the front wheels, body lines that dont match, crappy looking tires, wire on the frame, the non-smoothed roll pan, and the amber tails need to go..

 

Thing to be done:

'06 tails
Hide green wires on frame
Shave tailgate handle so there is only one handle back there (toneau)
work the rollpan into the body, and delete fender tabs
get wide *** rear meats
get respectable wheels

 

Like it except for the color...

I was kind of sad, the owner wasn't even the builder. It was a very healthy 302 though.

 

I have seen worse, that's for sure.
