That's after cleaning them twice already. You should have seen them before I cleaned them. A Ranger with all four doors removed for 2 weeks is not a good thing. I'm gonna get some better cleaner and see if I can get them to shine up.

I'd take it to a detailer and let them shampoo it, or yourself if you know how

And repair it. Honestly I wouldn't buy them if they were damaged that badly. I'd get those "Wet okole" seat covers that are awesome. But with a bit of hard work you can probably make them look really nice again

The other owner of the shop I work for is going to repair it for free for me as he does upholstery for a living.

Yeah that's all they really need besides the drivers seats but that's a tiny hole. All I used to clean them was a tiny cheap carpet shampooer that was at my aunts house.

I'd like to get the red inserts a dark green to match the outside of the truck, but now the red is growing on me.

Not a bad deal on the seats. However I wouldn't have installed them if they look like that after 2 cleanings... That and your truck is green with red seats and light gray plastics.... It all just clashes. Sorry.

Oh dude seriously if your boss or whatever is doing the repairs, IF he plans on removing the material at all, why dont you take this chance to install heated car seats??

This or something: Universal Heated Pad Kit Seat Heater Kit Car Truck SUV: eBay Motors (item 120545012069 end time Oct-14-10 03:51:48 PDT)

That would make your seats pretty damn awesome

Good job on editing that to north since GYEONGGI-DO is a major province in South Korea.

*edit* I also randomly chose that one. **** i'm so cheap i'd most likely build the heated car seat warmers myself hahaha.

Damn now I really want those. I'll have to see how my funds are since I just lost my night job.

I practically got these seats for free since my aunt paid me $50 for the old explorer seats the second I took these out. And the seats aren't as bad shape as they look in the pictures. My lens is dirty and my camera doesn't take good pics in darkish areas.

It's just dirt on the seats and the shampooer I used is a pos that doesn't clean worth a ****, doesn't even heat the water up. I just used it to get the loose dirt out of the seats so I could sit on them with out getting dirty. There's only one hole and that's on the drivers seat obviously and it's no bigger then 2"x2". If my bosses co-owner of the building can't fix it easily I'll just throw a piece of black gorilla tape over it and call it good.

I didn't just buy these seats for looks but they are one of the most comfortable seats I have ever sat in, about 1000 times more comfortable then the explorer seats. And they absorb most of the bumps/shakes my truck has so my back doesn't have to feel all of them.

But I should be able to get to my grandpas house where he has a steam cleaner and a much better shampooer, I will be getting the rest of the dirt out of them by the end of the week.

when you get the driver's repaired, have them pull the covers off and wash/dry them. we do this a lot with flood cars, or milk, or whatever. works wonders and most come out looking brand new. you got a steal on them!

and if you consider doing seat heaters, I would highly recommend the carbon fiber ones. They are twice as big as the others. i put a set in my wife's Olds, and a set in my mustang buckets. Use them a lot.

This maybe kinda random but can you add this to cloth seats or is it for leather only?

yep. can use them with pretty much any material. i put the same set in my wife's car and it's all cloth.

i love mine. they aren't only for cold weather, but come in real handy on long trips to help relax your back. i use mine a lot in the cool mornings. roll the windows down and turn the seat heaters on. within 2 minutes, i'm nice and toasty.
