Seriously! I haul mulch, sod, patio stone, boxes, anything you can think of. I like to keep my truck looking good play with/in it and use it.

Picking up chicks? I wish I could use my truck to do that...
I almost always use the trailer. Its so much easier to load and unload it a foot off the ground instead of way up into the bed. Also last time I had dirt in the bed I accedently scratched the fender with the shovel.

talk about using a truck for what its made for... "treating a truck like a car" seems to be what your purpose is. i take care of my truck sure... but i'm not gonna spend hours polishing, detailing and buffing the paint by hand.
