That's pretty creative. I've got some cool old shirts that would make sweet console lids

If you go to Joann fabrics you can get decent quality black vinyl to cover it in. They have a nice one, and a marine one. The marine one feels like plastic, and sucks to work with. I did mine on my 60/40 console with it and it looks/feels great. You just will have to use an air powered staple gun most likely to get the staples into the plastic.

you have a Gray console?
Mind throwing some pics out there? I have some of that lying around and if it looks good, i'd totally do it. I hate my cloth arm rest.

To get that piece to look like that, is a lot of work lol. But I think your year truck doesn't have the cupholder, so it would be way easier.

Correct. I think i'm going to do this. i have the Expo shorty, so it should look good with the black cup holders and the black front cup holder thing. I'm probably going to just cover over the old cloth that is on there. however i might need to sew it or something to get the bottom to look right.
