My Ugly Truck
Winter Mode MOD
Needed winter wheels and tires, my polished wheels got a little taste of salt I didnt like the polishing. So I traded a part with another member Steve (cylhead or something like that) they are 225/70/15 on stock 2wd ranger wheels. Truck look horrible....Tires light up with a tap now... winter should be fun.

For the winter, My ION wheels are getting de-mounted so something could happen to them over the winter??? Only I know what COULD happen to those
That's how I felt the more I looked at these STX wheels.
Going from a set of staggered 10" and 11" chrome wires to stockers on small tires is a big adjustment.
After a while it grows on you. Doesn't look too horrible, I'd jsut paint them. The MPGs help with the transistion.

It's fun, I used to love sliding the old chebby around in the snow covered fields back home. The Ranger is a spoiled FL truck and doesn't know what snow is.
My mom has a 1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V that she used to pull out of storage jsut for the snow, I guess she figured it was a tank. lol That thing was a beast to drive in snow. Luckily the salt didn't do any damage and it still sits in storage to this day.

Many people change over for many reasons. Corrosive salt and road treating liquids. Pot holes (not the case) snow tires and or studs for ice traction.
I applied and got accepted to Boca R but didn't go as I wouldn't have a vehicle down there. Regrets after visiting my friends down there

Thank you I love both.
Speedometer is 12mph off according to Garmin GPS. XCAL3 should take care of that.
