Working on it.... =)

People are giving me trouble about painting them... I just need to go get a quote from MAACO or something.

I've been to a few no-named paint shops and they all give me a runaround stating that it's not good to paint fiberglass and blah blah blah. So I just walk out...

I called MAACO but haven't gotten an estimate yet.

MAACO is cheap paint, you're better off doing it yourself if your going to Maaco.

yeah, if it were my truck, i would rattle can it... if your decent at it, it can turn out good, i painted my 1st car with cans and it turned out decent...

Maayco doesnt prep, they just paint, so all the paint will just chip off and flake off your fiberglass, and when you go back they will say "i told you so"

Yea, I just had my topper painted by an awesome company, they prepped for 8hrs for 3 days and still it bubbled up in one spot. I have a few spots that are messed up, it's just really hard to paint fiberglass.

I would rattle can it with a cleacoat. Thats just me though, I'm decent at painting. It's all about prep.

It's my popo truck =) The popo's stay away from me haha. Not really though, I get profiled all day long driving my truck it kinda sucks but I still love it. I want to go all black eventually but right now I'll just keep them white until I can find someone good enough @ painting.

Sean-- your truck looks familiar... and I have a buddy that lives off Santa Ana Canyon and Weir Canyon/Yorba Linda Blvd. I visit him quite often actually for blunts and beers :)

I'm sure you've seen me around but next time hollar at me when you see me cruise by. You can hear them mudders for miles hahaha

you can buy car paint just like maaco, and the place that has the paint sells these sprayers that are disposable and use c02 to spray the paint, it works really good, but if you dont have a controlled hand like you said i guess its better to wait and get them painted.

Just paint them yourself. If you have the money buy a $150 spay gun and start painting. If the paint starts to bubble upp or chip off it is not the end of the world just repaint them and have some one help you.
