New Look.. sort of (timeline of trucks looks)

Hey, for those who have seen my truck since the beginning, you may remember it started out with the stock 16x8(ish) sport 4x4 rims, with 33" mtz's, and the 4" superlift, along with a Leer cap...
Then I lost the cap and put on a toolbox
then added the prekey and shackles to the lift
then came the 16x10 pro comp steelies

Now because of winter coming along, and no apparent interest in the market as far as a buyer for the cap.. shes back on.. and now that I have the rims on, I think it looks better than it before.. I'll show a couple pics from various stages to show the timeline.

**Edit, I copied the image locations wrong from the first ones which is why they're small, copied the thumbnail location, not fullsize.. but it would be a lot of work to redo them all... the current setup is the important one anyways. :)
Stock - with cap

Superlift - with cap

Superlift + Prekey/Shackles - tool box

Rims Added

Finally... current setup with Leer Cap back on

Smexy. Makes me miss my cap a little bit. I love them on lifted trucks I've come to the conclusion.

Thanks all for positive comments on the look with the cap back on... I originally just wanted it back on to make my truck more useful to me again, and for winter... but then I thought, ya this will look cool again... I love it back on for so many reasons

perhaps it's something that I picked up from my euro roots... used to have a vw, had yellow fogs on that too, and at one point, yellow headlights... I don't know.. I put in yellow bulbs, then thought it'd be nice to have yellow lenses as well..? heres my old car:

Quite the contrast... this is what I drove a couple years ago... spent 1500 on oil pans in a 5 week period once... man that was a bad month :(

Your truck is effing unreal dude. The stance is perfect, tire and wheel setup sets the whole thing off. Im hoping with the fabtech 3" spindle, the 15x8 procomp 52's (3.75BS) and my 33x12.5 km2's that my stance will be somewhat along those lines.

Do you have any rub issues? This could be a stupid question but do you have more chance of rub with a 8" wide or a 10" wide. It seems that with 10" that your tires width would be distributed over more rim so it wouldnt sit as high thus less chance of rub. Im probably way off with that tho

I'm thinkin your tires wont stick out quite as far from the body with the 8's, but with a 3.75BS I could be wrong, or it may be similar? As far as rubbing... I haven't noticed any rubbing yet.. I haven't done any serious flexing or anything though. When I had my original rims on with the 33's I had issues with the inside of the tire just barely clearing suspension components, and I couldn't turn a full lock without the inside of the tire rubbing on the frame.. for example... if i were to crank my wheel all the way to the right, the lugs would rub on my left tire on the inside.
with the 10's the BS pushed them out and away from the suspension and frame so that was no longer an issue, if anything I could see some rubbing happening on the front of the bumper (which has been trimmed to make more clearance) if I were really pushing that tire up into the wheel well while it was being turned... But I've got about 6" of lift at this point on the front of the truck so I have lots of clearance.. it is an 08 though so its technically the same as a 4" lift on an older model?
