New to me Police Interceptor.
Over the weekend I picked up an 03 CVPI in gold. Here are the ebay seller pics, I have not taken any yet.
140k on the clock, needs a few things but overall feels and runs solid.

The car needs at least a muffler it is just too quiet.
Dont want to say to much but yes you have 140,000 on the clock however those cars run all day long non stop. If it was a fleet car that pretty much means that the people who drove it treated as so and drove the ever living **** out of if. Im just saying. If it was a take home car your in a little better luck but while on shift it pretty much never gets turned off.
But by looking at the pictures it looks like it was a take home. Also being is it has a cloth rear seat it was probably a detective car or a supervisors car.... Looks like a solid car though...
Also promise you wont make it into a donk.

I am pretty sure it had roof lights but I see no sign of the cage so its hard to say what role it played.
I do see numbers under the hood and green painted numbers on the hood so i think it has had a engine swap in its life. Battery is a 6 month old interstate, although the check engine light just popped on today so I need to look into that now.
I do believe that is a picture of a "bubble" but I am not really into lifting this car unless it goes onto a super duty frame with a power stroke.
The paint looks good in the pics but up close not so much. I have planned a 5.0 swap for the ranger so this will be the daily once I work any issues it has.

I was looking at them about 6 months ago. 10 to 15k was the price depending on mileage. I want to run payment free to stay as liquid as possible. This car was 2400 plus TTL, no real mods are planned just a daily.
Looks sharp
I have been wanting one myself for a while and like yourself I currently enjoy not having a payment and want to keep it that way. I know it will vary by carrier, state, etc but how does the insurance on the Vic compare to the ranger? Coverage is a factor as well but I am just curious. There is only one downside for me trying to pick one of these up, I'd have to sell the Ranger.
