Tails are better. I also like the rails. You should trim them down enough to fit your toolbox.

Thanks everyone really appreciate it. I know I need to polish those wheels... I plan to do it before the meet in may.. Any suggestions on type of polish?

Nick,
I went to Cocoa Auto salvage yes.. I got everything for $40. Haha a steal imo. I had to search hi and low to find the tails.. I also pick up a couple misc things like a new power mirror switch and a new Driver side unlock button as they were both malfunctioning. I go to one guy there all the time and he is always taking care of me. Bald tattooed dude he is very cool..
I live in Rockledge, I used to work in Cocoa Beach at a Tattoo shop. The Corner by Ron Jons

Huh, Cocoa auto Savage always has jacked up prices on big stuff, I guess I never really picked for anything small, except my horns I paid $10 for pretty much new.

I usually have to deal with the ol' lady. lol

I work at Cocoa Beach Surf Company, yay another local to wheel with. lol

maybe add some gap gaurds.

Also, make your truck your own, this isnt a competition!

besides, every one knows, Red trucks have more fun!

As far as wheel polish, I have used Metal Wax Products for the past few years with great success. Am going to test one that claims to be better, but in the meantime; www.metalwax.com
The cleaner can also be used on the windows and mirrors to remove those water spots!

Thanks man, I just want it to look as good as I can make it. And It's not the truck that has fun it's the driver

Better yet, paint them satin black with some Krylon fusion.

Do you plan on putting the toolbox back on? If so, don't hack the front third of the rails off like everyone else does. A little bit of notching and you get a much cleaner look.
