New Subs and Niteshade

Jake (Lord of War) and I niteshaded out tails a few weeks back. He posted a few pics but they were kinda sloppy due to bad weather and our trucks being dirty. I managed to find some time today to clean up my Bronco and take a few pics.

Oh yeah, and I also put in two 12 inch Rockford Fosgate P1's, and an 800 Watt, two channel, Rockford Fosgate amp. This is my second system...first one was stolen a few years back. I like it. Not the best quality subs on the market, but plenty for me.

Crazy to think Golden, where I live, just had 30 inches of snow on the ground about 3 days ago.

Looks good. You should try clear coating the tails. Make them a little more glossy..

I've seriously been considering selling it lately...its having some issues now that its getting older and i'm daily driving it 70+ miles a day.

First major issue is the Tranny. Damn thing has been having trouble dropping into drive and reverse from park when its cold and wet outside. It has no problems when its dry and warm. I need to take it to a shop and see what the problem is. I just had the damn thing serviced with new seals and new fluid a year ago.

Second issue is upper and lower ball joints and drag link. I haven't been able to get an alignment since my lift due to this issue. The alignment isn't terrible, but its enough to make my tires wear funny.

There are also other issues that need to be addressed. Re upholstering the drivers seat, leaky water pump, whole new brake job.

I've been looking into getting a 04+ Ranger. What would you all do? If I can get a better full time job or a part time job and work 60+ hours a week, I could afford to keep the Bronco and buy a Ranger. Thats the ultimate goal

Yeah, I put 3 coats of clear coat on them. Two light coats, and one heavy coat at the end like the directions said. The tails are just old and faded.

English mother fvcker, do you speak it? You need to shut the **** up, *****

I'm on this forum for a number of reasons. I've been interested in getting a Ranger. I frequent this site to read about a vehicle I might have in the near future.

I also have some friends on this site I frequently wheel with. So STFU

Man that thing is wicked, I love it. If you do sell it and get a Ranger I would get a 2002-2003 FX4 if you want a daily driver/weekend wheeler. If you want to keep it I'd look at a older 2.3 with the 5 speed. Good gas mileage, fun to drive and you still can haul around stuff!

That's a nice Bronco, I WOULD NOT sell it. Ten years from now you'll look back and the Tranny issue will be dust in the wind. Rangers come and go, but the Bronco will never be like that one again.

Thats what I keep tellin him. The Bronco is paid off. He could save a little money to put down on a Ranger and then have a normal car payment.

I would definitely keep the Bronco. In Michigan, there are no Broncos anywhere that look as nice as yours does. Keep the Bronco, and get an older 2wd Ranger with the 3.0 or 2.3. Even better get a black one and drop it to the ground and then you would having matching trucks.

put it this way... if you're taking that many different angled pics of it... you're still in love with it.. and if it's paid off it's not like it's a burden... keep it!

Like I said, the ultimate goal is to keep the Bronco and pick up a Ranger. But i'm too broke right now. I'm pretty much breaking even with my bills and the amount of money i'm making. If I were to continue in the current situation I am in, I'd either have to sell the Bronco to make a decent down payment on a Ranger to keep the payments low, or just keep the Bronco and start trying to save every dime I have for future repairs. I know they are going to start building up soon.

I'm searching hard for a new full time job that pays better, or a part time job so I can pull in an extra couple hundred a week. Or both....luckily.
