New T-Bars finally in!

I got my new B-Rated torsion bars installed today. I had planned on doing them myself but worried after I reading that sometimes they lock in there. Then you have to use a blow torch to get them out. So I went to a local shop. The guy said he hasn't ever done a Ford where the Torsion Bar basically went in on it's own and didn't have a crazy amount of tension on it from the get go. He said that's why one of the bolts is closer in than the passenger side one. He said there is still about a half inch of adjustment and not to worry about it. The passenger side torsion adjustment bolt has like an inch left.

My F-Bars where maxed out and rode like crap. My B-Bars ride like a Lazy-Boy, I guess becuase they aren't maxed out.

I also installed my nerf bars that a friend of mine painted.

She has some dents and dings but I try to keep her in good shape.

Peace.

Very nice! Side steps look great too. Whats the difference in the B rating as opposed to the stock ones? (F?)

Man I can't believe how much better my truck rides with B-Rated bars. Why the F would Ford put those F-Bars in the Ranger from the factory? (pun intended) They ride horrible. The B-Bars ride like butter.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Got the front skid plate and auto tranny fluid and filter changed today. What a mess.... If you guys are at or around 50k I highly advise you change yours.

I put stronger ones in so I didn't have to crank them anymore. It rides so much nicer. My girlfriend even noticed it was taller and rode smoother....and that's saying something. She never notices anything car related which is fine.

Nice! Im liking the stance a lot more now for some reason, it may be in fact because your step bars are body colored lol. Where'd you get them?

The nerf bars are actually the factory ones. I sanded them down and prepped them because they were in horrible shape. My friend did the painting and final wet sanding. They look amazing in person. Hopefully the mud flaps will help deflect some of the stuff thrown up. I even told him they didn't have to be perfect but they were. lol

Got these installed yesterday but it pissed and poured all day today until late.

I believe I got everything I wanted to get done on it this week. I'm in between jobs and decided to take advantage of my down time.
