I know, I went with a friend to the drag strip (Mokan) and His best in his 2004 Cobra stock was a 13.39, My best in HIS car was a 12.67... He has no clue how to launch that thing.

 

Theres no reason to teach her. I can afford an auto, ill buy it. The fastest cars in the world are autos BTW. With the Vortech S-Trim going on this car, im not going to worry about anything beating this thing, unless its a Z06 with a salty driver or something reallllllllllllllly built up.

ben here has given good reasons why he bought an automatic and had the windows rolled up with the top down. its a good looking car and there is nothing wrong with it. he has had nothing but negative comments towards it. ill take bens side on this one for sure.

Lets do this the easy way. Next time a customers car comes in thats a convertible go drive it around the lot with the top down and the windows up. Then repeat with the top down and the windows down and see how much more air gets inside. Its not a difficult concept

 

Thanks Everyone, we for sure love the car. If you don't like it thats fine. But If you have ever been in my area you would have an auto too. Bumper to bumper traffic galore. plus its a PITA to start on some of the hills we have around here with a manual.

Everyone that doesn't like the car has probley never even owned a muscle or sports car in there life. I have had 4 mustangs, a cobalt SS/SC and a 350Z.

I've seen a c6 z06 run 13.80 and another guy ran consistent 15's with an 05' cts-v... quite a funny night at the strip considering a stock auto 06' gt which is probably 260whp was running better times than both of them.

 

No doubt I ran the vert on saturday night and ran a 13.9 @ 104 and I beat a 2007 WRX STI with 500 hp. He was running low 13's high 12's but bogged justa bit on his launch and I beat him... Love the auto... I can get a tan, drink a beer and run a 13 second 1/4 mile in this damn car. LOL
