We just got a few of these at work.. Im in the military and these are used to haul our equipment to all the air crafts on the flight line.. They are not Rangers but they are BEASTs. They are really nice inside and built to handle people running them in to things lol... Anyway enjoy :)

I like the pintle hook on the front. Are those magnets dangling from the front? To pick up nails and stuff?

Ok, dumb question, why do they shorten aircraft vehicles like that? What do you get over just having the stock length?

Well to tow equipment you really dont need that bed! Plus im sure it has to do with turning radius, but i could be wrong. We deal with SHARP turns because the parking ramp is very limited on space and we have to maneuver equipment around air crafts so Im sure all that takes in to account.

So, do those trucks roll out of the factory like that or is there a seperate company that gets them and cuts the frame up?

You have anymore pictures of them? When I worked at the airport everything except my truck had short wheel bases for the reasons stated above. I used to be a Jet fueler for ASIG.
