new truck... maybe

okay now dont hate too much but im thinking about trading / selling my truck for my brother's toyota... he needs a better vehicle to get him through 3 more years of school and i have wanted a trail truck for a while and with a baby on the way i am not going to have time or energy to spend on a 4x4 swap on my ranger plus its just too nice to bang up on the trails... anyway the truck is a 94 yota with the 2.4 and a 5 speed... pretty much all of the stuff was done by a previous owner (roll bar/brush guard) and will most likely be removed if i do take the swap... thoughts... comments... snide remarks

It's nice to help your bro out but you'll kick yourself in the rear for it everyday.

I wouldn't do it, but at the same token I completely understand helping your brother out. You will really kick yourself after a while though and you will really hate seeing him drive it and not take care of it the same way you would.

Your ranger looks real nice, but if it's not your DD and you don't use it on trails then I must admit there's not too much point in keeping it. (utilitarian perspective)

Sad to see a Beaut' like that go though.

I don't think it's a good trade Billy, your truck is worth way more.

Congrats on the soon to be fatherhood.

Ok I don't know about you guys but if I didn't need my truck to drive every day and I had another car that I drove and my brother needed my truck for reliability he would have it. But thats just me.

Hmm :( I guess, since its for your brother! I was considering paying my SVT off, and then buying my brother a cherokee for his first vehicle. I figured I could find one cheap, they're fairly solid and reliable, and he could always lift it for cheap
