Very nice! I'm with Shane, if they didn't cost so much more than a ranger around here I would have had one as well.

I would love to scoop up a charger kit, but the 3800 price tag alone, steers me away. i could only imagine what a dealer ship would get out of you to install it too! If i were to get one i would absolutely install it myself. the increase is from about 200, to around 260-280hp. Thatd be a pretty nice gain in the size truck it is. Of course those numbers all depend on size pully, and the URD 7th injector which is a must from the stories ive heard.

thanks again for the comments guys.

Well we got a few more inches of snow tonight, and when i was heading home,(on a back road) i was coming into a downhill corner, and went to go apply my brakes gently and i was NOT stopping and i started sliding sideways into a corner. At this point i was thinking OH BOY this is gonna hurt, because on this corner is a very steep embankment/cliff sort of setup, and i was coming at it pretty fast. Unfortunately you pick up a lot of speed while sliding in the snow. Well with quick thinking i cranked the wheel hard in the direction of the corner and down shifted and put it to the floor, and it kicked my *** out and i regained enough control to get my truck back on track and come out of the corner in a fish tail. it was a very scary situation, and my girl friend was in the passenger seat almost in tears. i felt horrible. well im here and my truck and the both of us are luckily fine, she is a little shaken up...

All i know is i pulled over after all this and thanked god, and trying to calm/comfort my girlfriend.

Any one have ever similiar expieriences? feel free to share!

crawly, you got good taste in trucks, thats one real sharp yota. But that exact truck actually isnt even considered a tacoma yet. it is considered a toyota truck. tacoma's didnt start being made until 95. my truck is a 2002. that particular truck is between 89-94.5. those trucks come with a 3.0 6 cylinder, literally in-destructable.

The Toyota 3.0 V6 was a nightmare. They didn't like head gaskets.

And like any truck if you don't take care of it in a salty environment it will rust through. If you watch it you will be just fine.
