Edit:

Here is a pic showing the view. I'm going to find something to put under it as a spacer so I can aim it more towards the ground.

how wide of an angle is your camera? i'd imagine right there it'd be pretty good for backin up to a trailer or something.

Thanks trent. I need to try and angle the camera down a little more. I may have to pull it off and put something under it to do it though.

actually, I can.

If you re-read your thread, you simply said 'pretty much' when someone stated if the cash was for the wedding/honeymoon.

I like it, been thinking about doing the same, it is tough trying to line up a trailer with a shell on and just backing up with a lifted truck can be a pain.

Very nice. I wish I had the money for a double din and back up cam when I upgraded.

Does it have night vision? Or are those lights going to serve that purpose?

No night vision but with the lights you can see fine. I'm about to put some different lights on there because I'm not happy with the current ones.

Trust me if you put one on you truck you'd regret never having one. I dont use it all the time, but there has been enough times that have popped up that I've used it to make it worth it!

I use to drive a 96 windstar. You can NOT compare the two. With a van you you dont have 2 windows to look through with tint before you see the back. van is just as easy to drive as an SUV because you have a reference as to where the back of the vehicle is. Driving with a cap isn't hard, but the camera acts as an ad for the big blind spot you have right behind the truck. Especially at night!

I agree. Three windows with tint suuuuck.

If I had the money id buy a camera, you may not need it but it sure does help.

I wish, had a toyota camry back in behind me after loading a bandsaw in the back of my truck. He must have pulled in after i got in my truck and parked about 2 feet behind me. Started up the truck put in reverse checked my mirrors turned around to look out the back window and started to backup trailer hitch buckled his trunk up to the back window. I sear I never saw him, couldn't see him out of the mirrors or out the back a camera would have saved me a ton of money on insurance premiums.
