New wheels and tires...31"s and 15x8!! Looks good!

Got my 15x8 Cragars and 31x10.5x15 General Grabber AT2s in today so took off a little early to go get them mounted and balanced. Look really good and much more meaty than I expected! I just have to stock lug nuts on for now but did order a set of nicer chrome ones with locks (McGards). I did not do anything about center caps yet, really don't like the way they look on these wheels. I'll probably clean, primer, and black paint the truck hubs that are exposed and leave it the way it is. Really like the looks of the truck now! Thanks for all the useful info on here to get the right size, offset, etc. I decided to run the white letters out. I did take it out on the interstate for a quick run and at all speeds they seem balanced just fine, no vibrations, anything so I think all is well.

Pictures kind of suck...truck hasn't been out much at all this winter so I've managed to not get salt on it but its kinda grungy from sitting around in the garage all winter and the sun angles this time of year plus Iphone photos don't make very good pics but you all get the idea for now. This winter has been very cold and brutal and I'm completely sick of it.

I probably will try that once it gets warmer out and I have some free time. Could use an inch or so.

Pulled off the wheels/tires today and wire wheeled, cleaned, primer-ed, and painted the hubs black on the truck. Looks way better. Also got my nicer chrome lug nuts in today and installed those.

Been hearing a "clunk" in the rear of the truck when hitting bump on the road and finally noticed that the bottom rear shock bolt/nut on one side was loose. Wouldn't tighten for some reason so I picked up a new bolt/nut from the Ford dealer parts today and when I pulled off the old I found the threads destroyed in one spot and the whole bolt was bent. Replaced with new now.
