Night Photos

Haven't taken any pictures of my truck in a while. These were taken at thanksgiving. Pitch black, lit with and ipod touch.

he didn't TAKE the pictures with the ipod. He used the ipod as the lighting source. Badass pics. Any specs on your settings for the pictures?

Settings were f5.6 with around a 100 second exposure. I used the ipod with the flashlight app and walked around my truck lighting up specific areas I wanted lit. Pretty fun to do except you feel kind of goofy walking around your vehicle with a ipod haha.

The last picture was actually 3 exposures merged together. Thats why the star trails aren't a consistent line.

haha nice job Cody. Looks like you need some more light though. I walked around slowly and try not to flash the camera with the light. Its trial and error I find haha. Some of mine turned out to be a mess of light trails.

yeah I wish I could have turned the display off on my phone, cause once I had the light on the camera was catching the screen, haha. I'm going to try using some colored flashlight filters tonight and see what I get

Here are some more.

This was one I did last year. I didn't have my truck with me so I used my dads vehicle. You can see in this one I purposely flashed the light at the camera to get the light in the background.
