Notch Update

Hey guys,

Haven't been on here in a long time. Work has had me tied up alot. But I thought I would drop in and give you guys an update on the coupe.

Well it should be getting painted here in the next month or so. It's going to be painted black again. I'm going tomorrow morning to go pick up a LX front clip, so I can change the car back to the way it should be.

I also picked up a set of big and littles for the car. Spent HOURS and HOURS polishing them. Still have alot of work to do though. Anyway here's some pics:

Picked these up from a buddy. Still have a long way to go, but they at least are sealed up for now. This wheel and tire combo totally changed the look, feel of the car. Really happy with them!

Here's what they looked like...PRE-POLISH

I apologize in advance for the dirty car....there was no way in hell I'm washing it in 30 degree weather with a 15 mph wind.

So I went to the junkyard today, to look for a ignition coil cover, fan and came across a lil 93 LX that had brand NEW clear corner's and marker's
picked em up for 20$ can't beat that. Also picked up a driver's side front fender, to replace the one that got creased by the 80 y/o lady. Tomorrow I'm going back to the junkyard to pick up the LX front clip. Anyway here's the pics..:

my money tree is lookin pretty sad....the car is getting painted hopefully this coming month when my buddy get's back from the Shelby Bash in Las Vegas, NV.

Then I've got engine mods to do. 5 lug will happen before too long. I've got these that are going on:

couldn't beat the price 100$ for 5 rims all new in the box. Picked them up cheap due to putting a Spec V clutch in a Shelby Gt500 Terlingua.

UPDATE:

Finally got the last 2 pieces I needed for my car, to get it to paint

Finding a LX front bumper that isn't cracked, or all dicked up, is like a needle in a haystack,
but I found this one on a 89 LX, that actually was completely intact. The only thing that was
messed up on the car was the interior.

So I got the LX front clip, and the passanger side fender extension. The driver's side was already
gone :(

Also picked up the driver's side fender to replace the one that got damaged from the 80 y/o lady:

So we're lookin good. Got all the parts....just gotta get the car scheduled for paint. Man talk about being excited. Just happy to get my notch
back to the way it's supposed to look....LIKE A NOTCH! :)
