Now I did the fullsize mod too

Traded the ranger for a 94 F-150 4x4 standard cab shortbed with a 300-6 and 5 speed. Should suit my needs quite a bit better than the ranger, and without drinking a crapload more gas. The graphics are lame, but I can fix that if I ever decide I hate them enough. Previous owner let his brother-in-law repaint a perfectly fine truck (well, the clear on the hood was peeling) for practice. I just hope he doesn't do anything as stupid with the ranger.

Yes 4wd, that was a definite requirement for my next ride when I was looking. It has about the same horsepower as the ranger, but it also has a lot of torque, something my 3.slow lacked. I'll probably repaint it someday just because the graphics are not just hideous, but uneven and poorly done. Too bad because it would have been a decent paintjob without all the custom crap.

I'm off to go play in the sand for a week, I might get some pics of it out there.

My dad's old shop truck got about 16 MPG's with the 300-6 and a 5 speed and 4X4. Man, I miss that truck. It sounded burly for being such a beater, lol.
