Those were taken at Oregon inlet right as you get on the ramp to get to the beach. I drove down to Buxton and Frisco where there was less beach traffic and not as closed off. But I think though that I'm more partial to the sound side drive. You can't drive too much but the view's ALOT nicer and it's more secluded.

Sadly alot of the beaches are closed off for the hippie protection of the birds this time of the year.
