oops. did it again!
i would photoshop a few pics first, see what you think look best, i honestly think the big ford oval on the gate is sexy! it shows class (as redneck as the big blue oval is) but i think shaved would look good too... the only thing is, the fancy badging, front grill, bumper, hood, and the big oval on the gate are what makes the 06+'s stand out from the 01-05's if you think it would look better though, it's your truck...
only reason i say that is your front bumper is different, your grill has been changed, all you have left that distinguishes age is your rear oval and side badging... but on the other hand, it's a completely custom truck, and looks wicked already...
but i'm also a huge fan of small changes on things... things that you have to take a second look at, because it is out of the ordinary... mild body kits on nice cars for instance... something you drive past and it clicks that domething isn't right about a block down the road, and makes you want to go back for a second look to see if you imagined it...

well **** me. one of my tires got a flat. came out this morning to a tire with 5psi in it. its a slow leak, so i filled it back up and have to decide what to do. buy a set of 315/75/16s with 60% tread or just buy two new front tires. because one is already really worn. but they cant patch the other tire because the nail is on the shoulder.
could i put some of that slime **** in there for now and prevent the leak for a bit?

get the 315/75/16s with the 60% left that way you can see how you like the look. Don't buy just 2 brand new. IMO I would wait til you could get 4 new.

yeah the A/Ts are great. i used to prefer MTs cuz i wheeled my truck every weekend. but now it just hits a dirt road every few weeks or so lol. they still look fairly agressive, but ride great. my second choice of tire would probably be some nitto terra grappler at's. my dad has em on his truck and they're great

I'm stoked to see how the 315s will look. I can always crank the tbars a bit more if needed.
Till then I'll be running fix a flat in my flat tire lol. Seems to be holding well. I'm just scared to drive too fast with the nail still in it

you will be fine, i had a 1/4" bolt in my front tire of my f-150 for a while, i was doing about 85 down the hiway with it one day too... it was all good, till i heard this loud PING! and my steering wheel started turning to the right... and then i felt the front end of my truck sink... got it off the road, got my buddy to pick me up on our way to work, and came back to fix it, and the truck had been impounded for "abandonment"... took about 20-30 seconds after the ping before it was flat... patched it and it was put back on the tire... like i said, you will be fine... or just go to a parts store, and get a corduroy patch kit, that's all i have ever used, and NEVER had a problem with them, takes maybe 10 minutes to put it in...
