went out and about in the mountains today with the wife and dog for a drive. Went up to a place called Bald Peter, one of the tallest peaks in the vally here in oregon and over looks Green Peter Resivoir on one side, and the town of Sweet Home on the other. Not a bad view. then i stopped on the back side to drive through a pond that literally came up to the plastic pieces that came up to my door piece that said ranger...shoulda got a pic... then crawled up a ledge and turned around and started the decent back into town.

definetly is. going up there in the summer on clear nights you can see the glow from eugen and salem..... for perspectice, salem is about 40 miles and eugene is about 50miles.... its pretty rad up there
