Painted grille

Well, I finally painted my grille. I'll be taking it off again to finish up the top, but other than that, I think it looks awesome

And the one spot of overspray because of my ****ty masking job:

Tomorrow, I might do the bumper, or on Sunday. Depends on how ambitious I get.

I just noticed there is more overspray than I thought. I guess that means I need to go and get some black spray paint to do the mesh of the grille, lol. That was the plan anyway.

Looks great, and I was going to say that you should paint the grille mesh black.

Thanks a ton, guys! Tomorrow, I'll get the mesh painted black for sure, and I may even do the bumper. Not sure about the mirrors yet. I don't want to get rid of ALL the black.

Now that I think of it if you painted the bowtie black or got a black overlay for it that would look sick as well

Much better IMO!!!

It's the simple things that make it clean looking.

That turned out really good. The landscape around your truck makes me want to move to Montana.

Thanks again, guys! I'm extremely happy with it.

I got the mesh painted black already, and I got the drivers side mirror painted white. I'm waiting for the passenger side to dry before installing it. I kinda ****ed it up, so I'm on ebay right meow looking for another one.

Well, the paint was dry enough to go ahead and install the mirror. I think it looks good.

The grille. Can't really tell that the mesh is black, but it's gloss black, lol

And the whole front end:

Now that I look at it more, and look at other trucks with the same front end, I'm gonna leave the bumper pad alone, and paint the valance black. It'll match with the bedliner that's going on the bottom half of the truck when I do it.

Thanks, JoshEHEHEHEHEHEH! I'll be wetsanding it at work one of these days when we are slow again (probably next week when I'm at the office, lol). All I've got here at home is 180 grit, but we got every possible grit known to man at the shop, so no sense in me wasting money when I can just use what the company has got.
