Painted Rims

I bought these rims awhile back and put them on the truck, they looked nice but I wanted to make them look a little different so I painted the inner lip on the cut outs. I also finally took a before and after pic to show what I started with and what the end result was. I still have the 3/4 inch drop kit in my garage I just have not had time to do it yet and I am also going to get a spacer to bring the wheels out just a little more.

The starting pic

The upgrade

Then the stock polished 95 cobra wheels

Now the painted cobra wheels

Umm no there is a regular 95 cobra wheel it is just a regular like brushed aluminum and has the inserts painted like a gunmetal color these are the polished aluminum wheel and come just kind of plain which doesn't make much sense because it is a more expencive wheel but I had to paint the inserts black on mine.

It looks better painted, but personally I hate those wheels, even on Mustangs. I've always thought they looked kinda wussy for some reason.

I'm gunna be the oddball and say that I kinda liked them unpainted better. Only because the black makes it look like a flat rim w/ no depth. but it could be just the pics. Kinda looks like wal-mart hub caps after they were painted. But like I said could be the pics. Good lookin truck though. and a def. upgrade from the stockers.
