Did you scuff it up or anything before painting?

yep i used some high grit sand paper to be sure i got inbetween the diamonds. and im still ordering parts they should be here soon and ill have it done by the middle of next month hopefully

damn i might actually paint my toolbox now.. Mines kind of short though how long did it take you to sand that bad boy down? what grit did you use? looks sick dude
also what was the advice haha

any high grit sand paper will work. and the advice is to get in between the diamonds good, tape off the handles bc it looks alot better, and what paint to use.

man im gonna do mine tomorrow i havent even had my toolbox in my truck since it didnt flow with it well. but I think I'm going to paint it tomorrow and see what it will look like.

dude only problem is do you have to sand between all those damn diamonds? or cant you just go ahead and spray paint it
heres a pic of my truck but my rims finally ship out tomorrow and im getting new BFG a/t's this month. 3 inch body lift coming this winter so it will looks alot different by then but heres the truck.

heres the rims if you wanted to eye ball it

yeah same rims i have. yes you have to get between the diamonds but its not hard at all you just have to scuff it up thats it. i would recommend sanding it a lil so it will help the paint stick
