Peak trip
Peak trip
Jenni and I decided to go to the peak of the mountain today, as it was snowing and we couldn't go for a ride. Heres the pictures from the day. At the bluff you can see a solid 40+ miles.snow was only a foot deep at the most but it was solid ice in a lot of spots so the ride down was exciting.
standard driving shot

Pictures from the Bluff. It was cold.

Pics from the trail up and some cool tree pics

Jenni found a tree she wanted as a charlie brown xmas tree for our apartment so I broke out the saw and took the monster down.
My trusty trail saw

The tree in question ... monster right.

clippers would have worked for the tree but I didn't have them with me. so the saw I brought for blow downs was put to good use.

You can have it! Snow means no more ridding on the mountain. I much prefer rain to snow.
Ya we get lots of that too. Thats why I bring my saw everywhere with me, wouldn't be the first time I went up a trail and came back down only to find it blocked by a fallen tree.
This pic shows the curve better

it has done its job, I have mowed down a few solid trees with that thing with no damage. and it will soon have a winch.
