I'm getting the glasspack taken off soon and getting a flowmaster put on but i can't decide if i want to take the tips straight out the back again or come 45* out the corners. i like the more traditional straight out the back mostly because no one around here has it hardly, EVERYONE has them has them coming out the corners . i was wanting see some pics of them coming out 45* and if someone had i cooler idea.

 

If you enjoy offroading with your truck...running full exhaust to the rear is a negative...dump it right over the rear axle...I have a 93 4.0L with a flowmaster 40 dumped and it sounds prrtty good

 

thats kind of true, but if its run right you will have no problems with a full exhaust. ive never had an issue with mine. IMO a dumped system sounds like a$$

 

^X2 mine comes out at a 90 and it sound quiet but loud its a happy medium i hate the exhaust that sound way to loud for your rig. and i never had a problem wheeling

 

I have a 3.0 with a magnaflow muffler and its just dumped right from there and it sounds great.

 

just run it past the cab so it doesnt drone and youll be ok....thats how mine is done and it sounds great

 

these are of my gibson, make sure to get stainless tips! my sis has chrome on her honda and it rusted in a week, but steel wool cleaned her up.

i'm not a big fan of dumping it cause i love how the tips look but i can't make up my mind lol.

01_ranger_4x4- yours is like what i'm thinking about doing. i just wanted to see it on a ranger before i made up my mind

 

id like to put the tip infront of the rear tire.. prolly il do it after the BL

 

i'd like to see a dual coming out at each side at 90* before the tire with tips, i think that would look bad a$$!

my f-150 was 90 out each side before the wheels, not enough room on my ranger to do it that way so i am 90 out behind the rear wheels now
