Pics of my motor swap(56k no)

Whats up guys, i slung a rod in my 2.5 last weekend and i replaced her with a 96 2.3L. Everything that could go wrong did, i had to swap my fuel rail for returnless and i changed the timing belt and the clutch while i was at it...anyways heres the pics

Looking pityful on the trailer

Part of the block and oil pan

2.3L motor

My helpers asleep

Intake manifold off to swap fuel rail

Pulling the motor out

Holes in the block and oil pan

Old motor stripped down

Thats all for now, Ill post the rest up tomorrow when i upload them off of my phone...she runs great though...I was planning on saving the 2.5 and forge the internals with a turbo, but seeing the holes in the block changed that...

man its easy...just take your time and label/separate bolts to help u...label wat they are and put em in a zip lock...i never do tho i end up havng to figure out wat goes where...but these rangers are mostly 13mm and 10mm so pretty much they will work in other places...get a haynes or chiltons to help u...if u wanna swap out a motor make sure u have a dd to get places...because youll find it takes longer then u think it will...and u will more then likely need other parts
