Looks like a great project. I just pulled my 88 hatch into the garage yesterday that I'm working on converting from a 4 cylinder.

 

if it was an ssp, that would rock! that's a nice find either way.

 

Biggest give aways for a SSP is the 160mph speedometer and they only use one key for the doors and trunk. Fuel tank and alternator was bigger as well.

this is the first car ive ever taking to the track,and it got rained out!! i managed to get a 8.92 out of it before hand,but was having a hard time getting it to hook up. the good year eagles had seen better days. lol ive got a set of hoosiers that will be going with me next time, i believe theres alot more in it for sure. (1/8th mile track) and...........
