Thanks. I just started fabing up the bumper last night. Hoping to get a PA bodylift soon. looking for a set of new rims.

 

Needs some work, but its a good start. Take off those mud flaps, fix the paint, and clean it up.

Also, I wouldn't fab up a bumper until you have the body lift on. Otherwise you will have to lift the bumper again.

 

A very dirty work in progress, haha. I'm guessing the wood is just a template to give you an idea of what the bumper will look like? Otherwise you're just a redneck, haha. Good work so far tho.

 

Ya its was wet there for a while and i drive alot of county roads so it is really dirty. as soon as it gets nice out i will wash it. Yes the wood is just a template for the real bumper. I am hoping to make it out of 3/16 or 1/4 inch plate steel.

 

The guy im working for suggested that i put them on there. I did cuz i pull a 4 wheeler alot with a trailer and the county roads and wet conditions wasnt doing the 4 wheeler any good. so i put them on there and they work great.

 

He's right about the bumper tho. Once you get it on, then lift it... you'll have to modify it again to raise it up with the body when you do your body lift. Just keep that in mind when you're making it.

 

Ive been thinking about that, I was thinking about mounting it like Wolfman00 did but Extent that mounting piece down so that i could either bolt it on at the factory height or i could mount it higher for when i get my BL
