Pictures for ya guys as i promised (updates)

well here you go guys. few updates from the last pics i showed you. i added the new westin ultimate series bullbar, and i painted the trim on my clear corners to match the truck(before they were chrome, and looked way out of place). on saturday we had some decent weather, it was about 40 out, and sunny. so i decided to take out my scag mower, and my new honda snowblower and clean them up a little at the car wash. (got a lot of compliments today when i was out in town).

these were all taken at my local LOWES.sorry for the poor quality as they were taken by my cell phone.

here ya go. enjoy.

the most common highway in CT is rt 8. which i do travel a lot, even though i hate the highway with a passion.

as far as the truck having "grunt" it goes good. i pull that trailer with no problem. and when i was doing a lot of scrap runs, i would have as much as 2500-4000lbs between truck and trailer. did well considering. i have the v6 5sp, trd and it has 200hp, and 220 ft lbs. i like the truck, does everything i need.

lol. as far as the bumper. i was sitting at a light and out of the blue a chevy s-10 came up behind me kind of fast, and hit me in the rear of the truck. This caused me to run into the back of the truck in front of me, which had a hitch an ball in. if you notice most of the damage on my bumper is from the hitch getting crunched in there and then he pulled away causing the part of my bumper to get pulled out. my rear bumper originally isnt chrome, from the factory its color matched. Though when i got it it dented it a little bit, and caused it to rust. so i found this one(chrome) used and for 50 bucks and slapped it on there. i will fix the front bumper eventually, but these pictures actually make it more noticeable than it is. doesnt look to bad in person.

but thanks guys for the compliments, i appreciate it. i love this forum, i would post pictures here any day over the tacoma forums i belong to. especially TTORA, its full of whiney people whos equipment is better than everyone elses, and the typical i know more than you over the internet. ridiculous if you ask me.

but again, thanks guys.

nice truk. I wish that automakers (other than ford) still made small trucks.

Yeah I was gonna say, if a Ranger owner joined that place or tacomaworld and posted pics of his truck, he would probably get flamed, especially from the lifted 05+ TRD Taco owners who are mostly arrogant blowhard dipsh*ts who like to talk sh*t on American trucks on a previous-generation platform because it makes em feel better about the sh*tload of $$$$$ they spent on the TRD package and because they're too ****ing insecure to compare apples to apples

yeah they give every body crap. the new here section, they just drive everybody away with all the stupid comments they leave everyone. i kid you not, go check out the, "new here section" on ttora. Its just completely un-called for. They have no sections, specified for posting pics. and i did in the wrong forum(apparently) and they just deleted it. yes, deleted it, not moved it.

keep it up you guys at Ranger-Forums.

nice man. i promise you, you will love that truck. my dad has a 09 tacoma trd sport with the hood scoop and color match grille and bumper. it is an awesome truck, i love it. he is going to be upgrading this summer, and it may work out, where i buy it off him. we will wait an see though. they can tow very well, he tows our 4-place snowmobile trailer behind it, it is a very capable truck. good luck. talk to whippersnapper as well, he will back me up. post pics when you get it.

Mines just gonna be a SR5 with a tow package. I'm doing all TRD parts but exhaust and short shifter. I plan on getting DC2's with 265 BFG's.

be careful, on my dads truck he couldnt fit 16" rims, the sport edition comes with 17's stock. and when he bought a set of winter rims/tires the wheels he bought were 16" and wouldnt fit(brake caliper) it wasnt even a close fit, wass way off, so he had to sell them to get 17s. just a heads up.
