Just wondering... just don't want to get into issues I had before where they get too hot and cause damage!

I guess reverse lights wouldn't matter too much anyways as they're not usually on enough to get that hot!

love my silverstars, have them all around the truck, only problem is they aybe last half as long as a stock bulb, maybe because it burns hotter and brighter?

I bought a set a while back, didn't do a damn thing for me. Without tinted housings.

With my tinted housings it was hard to see at night. I went with SMD LED bulbs instead. Those things light up everything behind me.

They were $10 for a pack of 2, I paid $5 shipped for the LED's.

Good to know they are actually brighter, maybe I'll give them a second chance.

well for the price vs life vs brightness L.E.D. wins all around. its just the fact that you have to go online on ebay and order osme and wait when these are right down the street good to go.

you live in york, pa.

EDIT: 8 minutes later I have your addy. nothings a secret on the internet haha. just sayin. you don't drive around with a towel over your license plate, whats the difference? haha but thats cool...

as for the LEDs vs incandescents for illumination... i'll believe it when I see it. LEDs look bright looking at them, but I want some illumination pics, not just looking straight at the lights.

Has anyone done a side by side comparison of silverstar bulbs and LED bulbs?
