well its snowing like a mofo but i ran out snapped some pics of the old poor beat up ranger. the front axle is a little "off" too but i cant get a good picture of it because its right beside the shop.
here's the pics. Attachment 91916 Attachment 91917 Attachment 91918 had twelve 18kg sandbags in the back and when i hit the pole they slid forward hitting the front of the bed which hit the back of the cab. Attachment 91919 Attachment 91920 Attachment 91921 bent my beloved 4"x4" steel square tube bumper also. Attachment 91922 |
Maybe I missed it, but what happened?
|
clipped a guy driver's corner to driver's corner, hit the ditch and snapped a power pole. the same truck that i made this thread >https://www.ranger-forums.com/f15/ad...advice-116674/
not looking for **** about D and D either, just thought i'd show ya'll some pics of the truck. wasnt impounded or totalled so its sitting at home right beside the shop for sale. |
that suks

Insurance won't do anything?
|
sucks man but im suprised youre planning on fixing up your s10, i thought that was a pos? but i guess it will get you around.
on another note ... they wont let US citizens into canada if we have a dui, unless we pay for something called a "reformed criminal certificaion" i think. |

ya i've tried to sell my s10 but nobody wants it so i decided to keep it, fix it and drive it. here's a picture of my s10 if you dont know what it looks like. Attachment 91857 ya it sucks. frame is tweaked a little bit too i think, gotta take the sandbags out of the back, take the toolbox out and then check the damage some more. |
haha if you did actually snap a pole in half i think those are something like 2 grand to replace
|
3500 on a 93? God damn...

yup still $3500. i got a loan for $5000 from the bank and paid $1100 in cash. due to some financial problems over the years i've had to refinance the truck twice. my payments are only $100 a month. when i was working in the bush i was making like $400 a month payments. |
that was a great colour too.
tyler like mentioned, with a DUI, the insurance co won't do f*** all, except tell you to pound sand. at least you were unable to sell the chevy and that you still have something to drive. the only bad thing is, you're gonna be paying a lot for insurance now and maybe even the installation costs for one of those breathalyzer machines. |
ya not sure what is gonna happen now. guess i'll find out more on feb 15th when i go to court for my first appearance. my s10 is gonna be my bush truck but will be street legal still. dont really right now anyways because i've already lost my license for 3 months, then whatever the judge decides. Legal Aid will most likely be a year so thats what im judging my time frame on.
my s10 is gonna be bare bones too. no carpet, no back jump seats etc. but will have heat, cd player, switch for aux lights on my roll bar. |
my cousin got a dui a few years back at a check stop and he lost his license for a year had to paid 2 grand in fines and he now pays 6g a year for pl and pd insurance on a 95 jeep cherokee that somehow still runs.

if you hit a bump you might spill your drink.
