clipped a guy driver's corner to driver's corner, hit the ditch and snapped a power pole. the same truck that i made this thread >https://www.ranger-forums.com/f15/ad...advice-116674/

not looking for **** about D and D either, just thought i'd show ya'll some pics of the truck. wasnt impounded or totalled so its sitting at home right beside the shop for sale.

sucks man but im suprised youre planning on fixing up your s10, i thought that was a pos? but i guess it will get you around.

on another note ... they wont let US citizens into canada if we have a dui, unless we pay for something called a "reformed criminal certificaion" i think.

nope they wont do anything because i was drinking, unfortunately i still owe like $3500 CAD on this truck. the truck is for sale whole or parted out.

ya i've tried to sell my s10 but nobody wants it so i decided to keep it, fix it and drive it.
here's a picture of my s10 if you dont know what it looks like.

ya it sucks. frame is tweaked a little bit too i think, gotta take the sandbags out of the back, take the toolbox out and then check the damage some more.

thats about what i was thinking too.. and yes i did snap a pole the bottom is "kicked out" so pole is leaning.everyone has power still.

yup still $3500. i got a loan for $5000 from the bank and paid $1100 in cash. due to some financial problems over the years i've had to refinance the truck twice. my payments are only $100 a month. when i was working in the bush i was making like $400 a month payments.

that was a great colour too.

tyler like mentioned, with a DUI, the insurance co won't do f*** all, except tell you to pound sand.

at least you were unable to sell the chevy and that you still have something to drive. the only bad thing is, you're gonna be paying a lot for insurance now and maybe even the installation costs for one of those breathalyzer machines.

ya not sure what is gonna happen now. guess i'll find out more on feb 15th when i go to court for my first appearance. my s10 is gonna be my bush truck but will be street legal still. dont really right now anyways because i've already lost my license for 3 months, then whatever the judge decides. Legal Aid will most likely be a year so thats what im judging my time frame on.

my s10 is gonna be bare bones too. no carpet, no back jump seats etc. but will have heat, cd player, switch for aux lights on my roll bar.

ouch. right now i pay $1400 a year for insurance. i was talking to a friend yesterday and he said he looked at the pole and it was rotten to begin with. im opening another bank account so i can start putting some more away now, so when the fines start showing up i got a lump sum of cash to pay towards them.
