Damn dude, now it hits harder knowing that

I may sound crazy, and some may want to put me in a psych ward for this, but I honestly believe all vehicles have souls. I'm not making it up, I really do believe it. I know my Bronco and my Ranger have had completely different personality's and so forth. My Ranger is more of a ***** than anything. People say my truck can't give me what a girlfriend couldn't give me... ya know not true. The only thing my truck CAN'T do is give me the physical attention. Seeing a truck like that get totalled like that... I consider the wreck to have one fatality.

On the bright side, you gave that truck a second lease on life, which I know damn well it appreciated it thus making itself a good truck. I don't know, i never saw the truck, so I can't call if the truck was male or female, but saving it is... well it's like saving a mutt from the humane society or something liek that.

My Bronco begged and pleaded with me when I sold her as a parts truck not to let her go... it was real eery, but it happened.

i also feel there is a spiritual connection between man and machines. my bronk and my golf both gave me a vibe. the ranger will in time. even at work, there are a couple of buses i enjoy driving more then others. i just have this connection to them for some reason. one of them i fought another driver just to get it. we played rock, paper, scissors. i lost and had to settle for the twin.

Oh wow, I'm very happy that you guys are OK along with the other passengers of the cobalt. That sucks though. Now your just going to have to find a gen 2 ranger and rebuild/paint it to be its younger brother.

Once again, glad you two are alright just be glad it was the truck and not you!

i hope not....i know that color is what made it stand out, but i hated it since the day i bought it i just kept it because it was in decent shape

i will get another 1st or 2nd gen (1st is preferred) in the next few months so stay tuned for a rebuild of some sort

i'm going to part out what i can from STIG 1 to get some cash and save for the next truck.

Wow man, I'm sorry to hear about the truck, but it stood up quite well to the impact. I am also glad to hear no one was hurt. Definetly no plastic bumper crap!

I'm sorry for your loss dude. Glad to hear you and the G/F are okay. Your Ranger was bar-none my favorite truck on the boards here. Hope you can find another Gen.1 to carry on it's legacy.

Ah bro, I'm so sorry to see that. I'm glad you and your girlfriend got away as lucky as you did. That could have ended up pretty nasty.

Hate to see that happen to such a nice classic little truck like that...she was definetly a looker.

All the best to you and your girl for a quick and full recovery.

What a damn shame. You'll never find another one like it.
