Ranger and Bronco nightshade
James (wyldechild) and I got together on this snowy day here in Colorado and night shaded out tails and my 3rd light.
It was a pretty easy job, just takes a few hours the first time.
Items used
- Screw gun to get lights out
- Bucket of water and rag to get dirt off lights
- Denatured Alcohol ( DONT FORGET THIS STEP)
- VHT night shade
- Masking tape
- Dupli-color clear coat
- Hair dryer
It was about 35 degrees outside and about the same in my garage so we decided to use a hair dryer to speed up the drying process. It worked great by the way. Both the night shade and the clear coat dried very fast.
We did 2 medium coats of night shade, 2 light coats of clear coat, and 1 heavy wet coat of clear coat.
Make sure you get a good heavy wet coat at the end. We found that this is what makes the lights look clear again.
