well my rangers gone and it was a sad day, you dont realize how attached you can become to something, either way its gone and i drive this pile now, exact truck i was looking for so didnt want to pass it up, 05 f350 extended cab long bed with 5.4 FX4 and only 50k and a damn good price so i jumped on it, old guy before me decided to paint the lower half with that crappy spray can bed liner stuff and i hate it but its whatever, going to have the bottom painted silver how they come stock and get the stickers all put back on, no big plans other than a toolbox, leveling kit, exhaust and tuner, already got my screen in and working, plan on picking up another older ranger to straight axle and have fun with......

Gas mileage shouldnt be too terrible since its just an extended cab reg bed too.
Id put a little more meaty tires on it if it were me. Some ATs would definitly set it off. My dads got some BFG ATs on his F-350 crew single axel and it definitly looks nice.

 

Great lookin truck. How bad is the MPGs? My father in law has a reg cab long bed with the 5.4 and its horrible on gas.

 

Well I must say my heart sank when I saw 5.4 lol. Good looking truck though. My buddy has an ex cab shortbed 5.4 4x4 F250 and gets 12mpg in the city.

its whatever, ive gone 100 miles so far and almost used a 1/4 tank, im guessing around 12, im ok with that cause i dont drive far
im sorry i just couldnt get myself to spend another 10,000 on a 6.0, i want a diesel and ill have one eventually i just dont NEED one right now, plus the 1 mile commute to work wouldnt help it much, dont hate me lol cummins swap?

 

I think the black lower half looks good. With some Harley headlights and black wheels it'd look even better

it looks nice in the pic but not in real life, its not really a black its like a faded black/dark grey, im going with the stock silver, i dont plan on changing the lights and idk about the wheels, i think aftermarket wheels look odd if its not lifted up a bit and i only plan on leveling it

idk but i drove by a few hours ago and they had it all cleaned up and out front, its technically illegal in md so idk if they are just selling it as is or what but i hate seeing it i wish they would just get rid of it
i like it too it seems like it will pull pretty good cause 1st gear is really low im curious to get some weight behind it

 

Nice rig. I was also disappointed about the 5.4...but oh well LOL. I hear ya about the diesel. I want one too but can't get one right now...
